Privacy Policy

Last Amended Date: 1 August 2021

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use the stringboard website or our applications for iOS or Android.

What is Stringboard CRM?

Stringboard is a visual Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Stringboard helps sales teams to build visual boards that visually identify members of customer accounts, influencers and decision makers, reporting lines, internal politics and what’s important to each of them. You can choose to share Stringboards you create with coworkers and others.

You can access Stringboard on the web at; on the iOS app store at:; and in the Google Play store at:

Connecting Your Email to Stringboard CRM

You can choose to enable us to access one or more of your email accounts by connecting such account(s) with your Stringboard CRM account.

If you connect your email account, Stringboard CRM will automatically access and analyse the contents of emails in your email account(s) on an ongoing basis for the purpose of identifying your CRM contacts (name, company, job title, phone, email address); frequency and recency of your contact with them.

Once identified, this CRM information is then extracted from your emails into your Stringboard account so that you may access this information in the Stringboard web, Android and iOS applications. The Stringboard CRM application uses this information to help you rapidly import your most important customer contacts into a new or existing Stringboard Visual Account map – saving you time and manual data entry. Where customer contact details change, Stringboard will use this information to seamlessly update your record in Stringboard, making it easier for you to stay in touch with your key target customers.

Notwithstanding anything else in this Policy, Stringboard only uses such information to provide or improve user-facing features and will not use or transfer such information (even if aggregated or anonymised) for serving ads, including retargeting, personalised, or interest-based advertising. Stringboard’s access to the email account is authorised through the email provider’s access mechanism.

Stringboard’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You may manage your connections to email and disconnect at any time in the settings menu.
